Today 14 pupils from KS2 competed at Temple Park Leisure Centre in the South Tyneside H4H qualifiers.

Our 2 teams competed with wonderful team spirit against 28 other teams – with the aim of reaching the H4H Finals night on 7th February 2020.

The drive, focus and sportsmanship from our teams was second-to-none, it was even commented upon by the Eagles coaches. The children gave 100% to their team in each and every game.

Our team 1 topped their morning group winning all 5 games convincingly, while team 2 also finished the group stages in 1st place with 4 wins and 1 loss.

Team 1 advance to the knockout stages and faced Team 2 sadly. Despite taking an early lead Team 2 equalised and the game went to a penalty shoot out. Jayden stepped up and scored the winning basket.

Team 1 then advanced to play Mortimer 1 we won 8-0 to book our place at Finals Night!
