As part of International Week, Year 4 have been studying Japan. During the week, the children have been researching the country and creating their own leaflets. In Art lessons, they have created their own printing blocks with Japanese symbols to create a piece of artwork. Furthermore, they have made a cherry blossom tree plate and even made origami butterflies and cranes. The children have thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities this week – especially the arts and crafts sessions.
