On Thursday 21st December, Year 6 took part a fun filled day celebrating the end of World War Two. On arrival at school, the children were given evacuee packs with their evacuation labels, a letter from home, a photograph of a loved one and their treasured toy/teddy.

Throughout the morning in the hall, the children enjoyed playing a variety of games including: Red Rover, What’s the Time Mr Wolf, Musical Statues and Musical Bumps. Back in the classroom, Year 6 played games of bingo and even participated in a Beetle Drive.

On the afternoon, a street party was held where the children tasted a range of foods and enjoyed the end to their VE Day celebrations.
