On Monday 6th November 2017, Year 6 visited the Apple Store in Newcastle. Throughout the morning, the children created their own information texts using their knowledge and understanding of World War Two. Once they inputted their information, they could select a variety of images and personalise their posters with various fonts, colours and styles.
One of the highlights of the morning was when the children were able to play with the various products displayed in the store. Many children chose to listen to music using Beats headphones, play video games using Apple TV and test out the latest iPhone X. Everyone wants one for Christmas!
Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their morning and returned to school with smiling faces as well as Apple t-shirts and USB wristbands.
