STANHOPE WELCOMES TEDDY

Today we welcome our newest member of the Stanhope Primary Family…Teddy is ready and excited to have a ulti-mutt, pawsome day with us fur sure!

Year 6 met our new starter today – Teddy

I think you’ll agree that he fits in well and is already making himself right at home!

TEDDY’S ASSEMBLY

Today Teddy enjoyed his first assembly with us all.

Pupils and staff learned all about Teddy, the things he likes and dislikes, as well as our ‘Be Safe, Be Kind’ Rules.

These are all so important that we follow in school – you could ask your child about these…

A massive round of a-paws to you all for being so well behaved.

TEDDY MEETS YEAR 5

Teddy loved meeting some more of his friends – this time it was Year 5’s turn. I’m sure you’ll agree he’s fitting right in here with his Stanhope Family too!

Teddy loved meeting some more of his friends – this time it was Year 3’s turn. They really enjoyed spending time this afternoon meeting Teddy. They listened to the school rules carefully and Teddy followed their commands extremely well. He’s a paw-some addition to our school family.

DOG’S TRUST

Today we welcome Rachel from the Dog’s Trust into school. We have had a wonderfully informative assembly where we have discussed safety when out and about.

Following this Rachel is visiting each class individually to share information on: Happy Dog Rules, senses, canine communication and even being a dog detective!!

TEDDY is 1!

Teddy, our school dog, had a fabulous day celebrating his 1st birthday yesterday in the sunshine.

This afternoon, during their Art lesson, Year 6 enjoyed sketching using a viewfinder. The children explored the school grounds to identify close up patterns in the environment. It was lovely to be outside in the sunshine.
